For refreshments, head to Fort Wilderness's two restaurants and one lounge, or buy groceries at the two trading posts and make some "home-cooked" meals. Guests of the resort can play tennis, rent bikes, play volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, go horseback riding, fishing, sailing, or explore the grounds on a number of nature trails. The resort is also home to a game room, marina, coin-laundry facility, swimming pool, and campfire program where Disney® movies are shown every evening. All cabins have cable TV, safes, radios, and full kitchens. Outside each cabin are private barbecue grills and picnic tables.

Also, a helpful hint on reserving: When you are in the "reservation pages" and see "Bed Preference" such as "King Size or Two Double Beds", just ignore it and continue, you will be given the choice of campsites such as full hookup (including cable tv for the Disney Channel), partial hookup campsites and cabins of various size. If the campsite or RV site rates do not appear, it is because they are sold out for that time period! Destination Orlando has reserved sites and cabins at this popular campground for 4 years as of June, 2004, it is popular since it offers resort amenities in a campground atmosphere, mousketeers from all over the world just love Fort Wilderness!
